Loss Mitigation Dept Must Be Hiding - Frustrating

uvpipres profile photo

I have been trying to connect with citimortgage's loss mitigation department for several days, have left messages, have talked to numerous people all of whom have transferred me to somewhere in their telephone network that puts me into perpetual queue. I'm trying to present the authorization to release so I can pursue a short sale.

Does anyone have a contact name, fax or phone number for their loss mitigation dept? If you're not able to post an answer due to forum rules, please send a private message to me.

I would be so very grateful.

    Hey,
Im having the same problem with Countrywide.
I saw a web-site www.easyhud.com that had a rolodex with 400 names and numbers of loss mitigation depts.
I dont belong to it anymore otherwise I would give it up to you.
Good luck and "stick it to them"
    short sales are cool.

You should always send the LOA via FAX, and certified mail. Call the rep listed on the last letter received by the Homeowner. Whoever answers, simply tell them that you are a 3rd party calling about a troubled loan, and wish to FAX the LOA. You aren't going to ask any specific questions at this time, but need to know who is responsible for the account, their name, address, telephone extention, and the closest FAX machine to their desk.

Sometimes, part of the process includes spending a lot of wasted time on the phone. I try to have the Homeowner do a lot of the gruntwork.

TRY THIS SECRET taken from my upcoming eBook "Successful RE Mktg. Using the Internet" it's a method used quite often by CMLAs (Consumer Mortgage Loan Advocates) Members of my Investor Education Network.

    1.)
Go to their Website and/or Email their Public Relations or Customer Service addresses.
    2.)
If you get no immediate response then -
Submit through their Contact US Form/Link...

Either of these methods should get your message routed through, a auto-response to your Email and a follow up call from Higher ups or Laterally Personnel and forwarded to the Right Representative handling your loan.

    3.)
I also have managed to get a hold of Pres. VPs and Chairman of the Boards using this Little Back Door Trick!

I FERRET OUT Their BOSSES and HAMMER Them with the following in ALL CAPS):

"...WHY HASN'T ANYONE GOTTEN BACK TO ME ABOUT GET THEIR COMPANY The MONEY ITS OWED on LOAN #0123456789???"

Send this to their Investor Relations contact-link on their Website.

And Let All of Us Here on TCI Know Exactly How It Worked Out For YOU!

    Best of Success,

    Derrick Ali

Also tell them you have an offer to present. That usually gets you through to the right department. Good Luck!
