Legal news, mailings, etc?

Let me start by saying that this an excellent site. I have decided to enter the world of REI and will be working as a birddog for a couple investors.

I am up to speed on most marketing, but lack the proper training/info for direct mailing.

I have just subscribed to the local legal news - but from what I understand, they do not contain address info? Do you just try to cross reference the name on a website or?? confused

The investors I am working with look at alot of different deals, but of course, a nice home in pre-foreclosure is nice.

    sentrex,

I assume you're referring to foreclosures listed in the legal newspaper. You can look up the property information by the owner's name at the county courthouse. If your county has a website and online access to public records, then you can look most of the information up online. You should be looking for a Notice of Default or Lis Pendens document.
