Intent To Cure Deadline
I am a newbie and considering purchasing preforeclosure property. I am trying to familiarize myself with all of the legalities and I see in my county of interest (Jefferson County, Colorado) that "an intent to cure must be filed at least fifteen days prior to the date the foreclosure sale is held". This baffles me a bit because I thought that I could cure it right up until the auction date. Does this mean that I have to have a deal made with the owner and be prepared to cure it prior to this 15 day deadline?
