Help Needed! Can I Still Do A Short Sale After Property Went To Auction?

Good afternoon all I have a question, hopefully any of you can help me out.



I would like to know if I can still short sale a property after it went into foreclosure and the bank bought it back. the final judgement is about $127K Can I still negotiate w/the bank? or is it to late?>



Any answer is greatly appreciated.

    noone can give you an answer until you tell us which state the property is located. The redemption period is different according to the state.

    You can still apply many of the same techniques used in a preforeclosure short sale to purchase REO... but you will lose leverage since the lender has already spent $$$ completing the foreclosure and taking title to the property.

    In the Shortsale Package, I see the preliminary HUD-1 sheet, I cannot recall learning who fills out the form, is it the Title company? or can I do I myself? I need help please!!
