Foreclosures In Massachusetts

jshapiro profile photo

I found a site the other day while on the ***Must Reach Senior Status to Post URLS*** page. They had a link to ***Must Reach Senior Status to Post URLs*** a site that lists foreclosured properties in Massachusetts. It seems like they get their data before the newspaper prints the notices!

I don't know if you have looked at other sites out there claiming to specialize in MA foreclosures, but I’m sick of them. They always show the same one or two foreclosures in each county. Anyways, I can only work with so many foreclosures at once, so if you want to check out foreclosures in your county, visit the ***

If anybody has any questions about foreclosures, let me know and I’ll see what I can do to help! =)[ Edited by tanya1215 on Date 07/07/2003 ]

Thank you for the link. I also found that site before and was actually wondering about the validity of the listings that they offer for a monthly charge. I am assuming that you are currently subscribed to the service. How many counties are you registerred to get updates for. How often do you see new forclosures pop up. Have you done any business through them yet? I would appriciate any information that you could share with us. My partner and I are looking to get into foreclosure market. We currently own properties in and near Boston and have availabe capital to invest into less conventional Real Estate Deals.

    Thanks for your time.

    h2oshka,

I signed up with them a month or so ago for Middlesex county. Some counties are tougher then others (Nantucket and Dukes for example), but I live and work in Middlesex county. Updates come out about once a week or so and all the data seems good. As for the validity, before I used the site, I found that the data from the courts often had errors. If anything, ForeclosuresMass seems to correct the courts errors! I'm not sure how you folks pursue foreclosures, but the data is only useful if you do something with it.

Have you tried out any of the other sites out there? I’ve been through a lot of them, especially the “free” ones. As I’ve always been told “You get what you pay for!” and that’s definitely been the case with these “national” companies.

Anyways, I’ve had a good response from the follow-up that I’ve done with the foreclosures. In the short time that I’ve been subscribed, we’ve already got one solid listing, a few potential listings, and about five deals “in the works” (in the process of negotiation). You’ll have to check it out for yourself though.

Looks like the link got removed from my original post... Per Tanya's suggestion, i won't put in the full URL. The site is ForeclosuresMass dot com.
