Foreclosure Auction Info Knowing Only The Address

I am interested on bidding on a property that I believe is going into foreclosure. However, I cannot manage to find the auction notice.

Is there any way to find out when an auction will be held or get the notice JUST FROM THE ADDRESS and/or block lot #?? I know usually you come across the notice first, but is there any resources you know of to do the reverse?

I am in the Manhattan area...

    i also use http://www.ussearch.com as a tool, I pay a few bucks, but it saves me driving into town to go to the county recorders and go through all the BS. Its about 10 bucks or so to perform.

    You can get financing up to 107% on a purchase. They do not take the $1000.00 off of the sales price. It goes toward the closing costs.

    Correct Laurie,

    As a first time buyer, "owner occupant" you qualify formany programs and a grater loan-to-value. For example we as investors have to put down 20% on our deals. There are other options but this is customary.

    "Owner occupants" are always in a better position with regard to Loan-to-value with HUD and other govt backed (secured) mortgages.

    Actually people with credit issues are given a "credit class". This helps them get back on track. There are many "affordable home" purchase programs available. Call you local broker and ask to be contacted by one of the representatives that handle them.

    These are my initial thoughts on how to get started, AND how to rebuild your credit profile. How about placing an ad in your local Sunday newspaper, saying:

    REAL ESTATE INVESTORS .. I will do your leg work, research, collections, customer contacts, bird dog, anything legal, in return for a modest salary and profit sharing. Full time or pt Gal Friday. I could be the best investment you ever made. xxx-xxx-xxxx

    And then follow up on each response to your ad with positive expectations and see what happens!

    Sounds like the address for Fairbanks Capital, but I think they changed their name last year.
