Foreclosesure Assistance

Does anyone have any information as to what to do to avoid foreclosure, or government assistance for my 84 yr old father.....I trying hard to find ways to keep and save his home....any help will be appreciated.

    Srleff:

    Look into getting him a reverse mortgage or if your credit/income in'st to shabby try to arrange a family living trust/life-estate for him.

    not very difficult nor expensive to arrange locate competent estate/probate atty. to review costs/discuss your (GranPas) options.

    What is the reason that an 84 year old has a mortgage? Did he recently take money out? How many years does he have left? Has he recently have any home improvements done?
