Check out the foreclosure forum. You'll find many of the answers you need there.
Are you thinking about foreclosures or REOS?
To get the NODs in your area you should go to the county courthouse or subscribe to a service.
As far as REOs, many banks don't want to tell you their inventory over the phone. A few will have their properties listed on their website, but it would be best for you to approach the bank before it is listed with an agent. The same service that will give you information on pre-foreclosures might also give you REO info.

Best of luck on finding your investment property.

Thanks for your reply. I'm more interested in REO.

Please see my post "Interest To Investors. I receive information daily about foreclosures before they happen. Many are willing to make a deal.

Contact the banks and ask for the REO Department, or Real Estate Owned, sometimes the customer service people dont know what that is. You may have to explain your self from there. Good Luck!!

    Hi cind_7,

If there are many branches of that particular bank, all of the REO's are generally handled at one location. So you may call a location and they know nothing about an REO division because it is not something that happens at their branch.

    Best of Success!
