I am wondering how you wholesalers came up with your list of investors to sell to. I have com across many deals that I could not close and did not know who I could assign them to. Please help.

go to some foreclosure sales...and you will find all the investors you will ever need.

The first thing you do is go through the paper and call every "we buy houses" ad. Ask them their criteria, and write it down. Second, take out an ad that in bold, centered says Investor Special, then on the next line give bed/bath area, next line your number. Make sure you answer your phone. Ask whoever is calling if they are an investor that pays cash or hard money. This is the only way you do business. If they do, get their name, #, and e-mail address. This will help you build your list. Third, go to your local investor club and don't leave until you have half of the rooms business cards or names and numbers. That alone will get you quickly to your goal.

Unfortunately, I must disagree with you. Where I live in S. FL, the sales bring out the sharks and wouldn't for the most part even look at a deal a wholesaler has.
