Execution Sale
Could any one tell me what an execution sale is I have some property at a buddy's house and I just saw in my local paper that he is having an execution sale tomorrow at 12:00 on his property?? Please help me and clue me in on this??

A creditor with a court judgment can arrange for the Sheriff to seize certain property... even if the property wasn't used to secure a loan. Your 'buddy' can seek to have some of his/her property designated as 'exempt' by filing the appropriate notice of exempt property with the Sheriff or other authorized office. The Sheriff can't seize property that doesn't belong to your 'buddy' if you file a declaration of ownership.
I thought you had to 'Bring a Rope'
