Ebay Properties Seem Awful Cheap

Who has bought and made a success of one of those Buffalo or Pittsburg properties I see daily on Ebay? It seems too good to be true so my scam light is blinking.

Mattfish I can see how inexpensive they are. My question is are they a good deal at this low low price.
Is there still a decent pool of renters in a declining city like Buffalo appears to be?
    Thanks

Robertmichon,Thank you for your insight with the Ebay seller. Of course I am ok with buying a property that has been bought and sold for profit as long as it makes sense. I am still hoping to hear from a few ebay buyers who have had bad or good experiences with the Omnipresent Buffalo properties that are so ridiculously inexpensive.

    Thanks Ryandick,

That is the kind of info I needed. I suspected something was wrong but I almost got suckered into buying one of these properties. Those ebay ads are deceptive because some of those properties look pretty good and the "Fantasy Rent" numbers almost hooked me.

Anybody else got similiar stories of Buffalo? What about positive stories?
    THanks again

The pittsburg propertys do look very cheap I think there might be a good forclosure market there. You think If these propertys were that bad the company selling them would have bad feed back. Most of the time they get good feedback.

I have been doing loans for investors in the PA,NY and the loan amounts are so low that they are hard loans to place, the list of lenders willing to do low loan amounts is small, but there are allot of properties in these areas that come in all the time for funding.
I have one now a small portfolio of 2 four-plexs,4duplexs and 1 house all for $260,000 this is typical for these areas!

    Good Luck,
    Robertgrin
