Do you leave dates blank???

When sending a purchase contract in a short sale package, do you fill in the dates?

I won't know when the closing would be so I can't just pick a random date.

You don't have to pick a random date, on some contracts you can put "on or before 60 days to close from the date this contract is accepted by the seller." Whatever date the seller put when they signed is the date he accepted the offer and you have up to 30/60/90 days to close, whatever you choose. But, keep in mind that the lender may have a requirement that states you have to close in 30 days from the acceptance of the short sale...so you should be lining up financing for the property fairly quickly if you haven't already.
