Default Lists

Does anyone know of a reliable fee-based service that provides daily lists of default suits filed (in Florida)?

Thanks

easiest and cheapest way is to pick one up for free at the county offices.

Each city, county and state handle their lists differently and with different frequency.

They each have laws regarding how far in advance a foreclosure has to be made public.

Someone also posted a note saying that ebay has an e-mailed list with foreclosures for most areas.

Thanks for the info. I will check with the county in question. I thought there would be a good service, like Daily Default Service in CA.

Hi, I know in Miami they have a legal newspaper with everything in it from the courts, I do not know about other counties. When I worked at the hospital there, we used to subscribe to it.

    EllisP-

In Broward County, Florida you can get the current foreclosure case list at the main court house downtown. Not free, but cheap ($1/page?). The info is basic, does not give property addresses and is the start for research.

There is also the primary business newspaper where cases are published daily called The Daily Business Review @$2/day (cheaper if you subscribe). Again the info is basic - someimtes addresses sometimes not.

A popular fee based serviced in the area is Foreclosure Reporting Service based in Hollywood, Florida. The serious investors who attend the auctions use this service.

I hope I didn't violate anything by giving out these names Feel free to send me a private message if you need more specific info on these sources. I am not affiliated with any of them - just a fellow investor.

In Colorado most title companies will provide you the lists at no charge. Also county offices and newspapers which contain public notices.
