County Recorder's Question

InActive_Account profile photo

I have a challenge, and was wondering if anyone could help me think of a way around it.
I have been trying to get foreclosure information from a particular county. Challenge is, you can only look them up by last name and organization. I know, crazy isn't it?
I have tried preforeclosure lists before but have found out that I got the information just as quickly through Lis Pendens & final judgments on the county recorders office of other counties. Also, I send out postcards, flyers, word of mouth, networking, etc.
This particular county kinda stumped me,I mean I obviously don't know who's in foreclosure by name(unless its a special scenario). Any suggestions??
:-?

I get the foreclosure information at the clerk of court's office rather than the county recorder. It won't show up there until the mortgage has been canceled.

Every week or so I go to the county and pull the new civil equity cases. I go through them and about 5% are foreclosure cases. From there I gather what information I can (at this point there isn't much more than the address and lawsuit amount). After that I begin marketing to them.

This is a somewhat time consuming way but here there is only a couple of foreclosures per month that I'm interested in even pursuing. GOOD LUCK
