Can You Buy Before It Goes To Public Auction

If a home is going to public auction ,can you buy it from the home owner up untill the last minute.How late is too late?

    Yes you can make a cash purchase on a preforeclosure up to the day of the auction

    Different states have different laws about this. In some home-owner-friendly states, you could probably do as JohnMichael said. But probably not all. Ask your lawyer or legal counsel.

    Real estate can be purchased at any time before a foreclosure in any state!

    Some states even allow a redemption period after the foreclosure sale that allows for the purchase of the high bid plus a little interest.

    No state law disallows the homeowner from not selling their home prior to foreclosure.

    Yes it is wise to seek legal council when it comes to legal issues.
