Buy It Before The Auction?

InActive_Account profile photo

I noticed a property auction scheduled for 3/12 on a property in my area. Is there any way to contact the bank (Deutsche Bank National Trust Company of California) and buy the property before the auction?

If so I would I find how to contact the bank in question?

Thanks for all the help.

Contact the Trustee listed in the paper and find out the particulars on the property there and you can also go on google and search for the bank and contact them with the info from the listing. To answer your other question...Yes, you can buy the property before the auction.

You can buy the property before the auction if you talk to the owner of the property, not the bank. The bank may sell you the note on the property, but they won't even speak to you about the house unless you get written permission from the owner of the house to do so.

What type of written permission do you need from the owner ?

Any good forms that would cover this ?

    Thanks for all the help.

One more question regarding the "amount of judgment" or "lien". Is that the amount needed to purchase the property or can the property go for more or less?

    Thanks for helping a newbie.
