After Auction
So, do I understand correctly that if the bank does not accept our offer of 2 weeks ago (the auction is set for 3-31-04) then after the auction, the bank, or whomever purchases at auction will post a notice on the window, and then I may contact them to make another offer? what is the process for the property after the auction? I really want this house and I am not sure where I can enter the picture and buy it. Please help!! I previously posted on teh short sale forum, but I am realizing that perhaps short sale and preforclosure are not the same thing??

yes, for ourselves, it just so happened that it was in preforeclosure.
