If I understand your question, you should be sure to always timely pay all of your house related expenses. Mortgage and taxes first. Keep a cash reserve. If a cash reserve is not available open a line of credit now while your credit is OK. I think the best line of credit is a Home Equity line of Credit. Make your best effort to pay all of your bills timely. Your credit can be very important in this business.

1- From a personal and philosophical point of view, it helps you realize how unpredictable life could be. One day you have everything going for you and suddenly your universe gets shifted.

2- From an economist perspective, it starts a new cycle in the financial circuit.

3- From an investor’s view, it is another opportunity to expand a portfolio.

4- From a banker’s position, a new customer to cultivate.

    Is this a school assignment?

Sorry if anyone misunderstood the question but I'm asking from an www.R.E.I point of veiw.

I'm speaking for short sale purposes, what are the different ways you can defend foreclosure in that sense. does make a little more sense ?

Oh by the way this is not a school assignment, just trying to help everyone get weapons in there arsenal for foreclosure defense.

sorry for the misunderstanding, hopefully this helps everyone answer the question better.

    thanks in advance again.
