Tracking Sent Private Messages
Is it my imagination or is there no way to look at private messages you have sent? If I recieve a PM and reply there does not seem to be any way to review my reply, or even to check whether I have answered or not. It would be nice to know whether I've failed to reply or I haven't gotten an answer to my message.
Not your imagination, You are correct as far as I can see. I've been trying to figure that out myself.

We did not build all of the software that we are using on TCI. We don't really have any plans on expanding Private Messages into an Email based application as if we wanted to do that, we would just build in an Email application and have email for everybody.
It seems logical to me that private messaging should in essence create a private thread in which both parties can view the entire conversation. This would be VERY helpful!
I agree w/ myfrogger. Threaded view of private messages or even treat private messages like a forum thread. Perhaps you could set up a "Private Forum" for each user where their private messages are posted to. The thread could be shared between the two parties.

I agree. When you write back and forth for a few days, I frequently forget some point or topic I made 2-3 messages ago.
