More Green Tabs?
I was thinking it would be great if there were more tabs, such as for, appraisers, handyman/contractor, REI Attorney's, etc. What do you guys think about this idea. To Joel and all of the investor's that post, keep up the great work. It helps us newbies out a lot. 
Are you talking about up top on the main menu?? or are you talking about more Professions in the 'My Info' area.
You can get to the My Info area by clicking on the 'My TCI' blue tab up top.
The occupation really is for customization of the website. Fer Instance, If somebody claims to be a Bird Dog they will be able to see certain things on the website that the Property Manager occupation wouldn't.
Mainly this is to customize certain interests. If you come up with some occupations that aren't on the list, we will gladly add them in. The ones you listed above aren't on the list, so maybe those are an option.

Since we are on the topic of site functionality ... how about moving the Select Forum drop down box to the top of the page near the Post Topic and Post Reply buttons so you don't have to scroll down to change venues. Just an idea.
