Leave private messages on for 30-60 days
As is, I believe that pm's are deleted on the first of the month. If someone PM's you on the 29th, and you check it on the 2nd of the following month it will have been deleted.
ALSO, if you could make the "you have one private message" flash or pop up it would be nice. I don't usually notice that I have one, and I don't get enough to check it frequently.
And maybe if you could move it closer to the top of the page to make it more noticeable... just an exception. I'm sure we aren't the only ones who have been missing messages.

It isn't messages that aren't read that will be deleted, it is messages that you have already read and haven't deleted them yet.

i think the messages should stay on as long as we need then to, might be good when refering to an old email with fellow investor
Since this is a free website, we don't even have enough money to cover the hosting expenses, let alone the development.
