Want To Help Mom
I have a question regarding a judgement my parents have incurred. Credit card went to arrears was sent to collection attorney for collection, sent a processor to my parents door, so my parents contacted the attorney and set up a payment which they have been making, however after a few months my mother has now received a judgement notice from the clerk of circuit courts stating that this company has filed a judgement. My mother contacted the attorney who was collecting to question the new judgement and they said it would be removed within a couple of weeks. Is this ok? If they are making payments why the new judgement. Also how can this be removed in just a few weeks, in my experience a judgement cant be lifted without a satisfaction. Is my mother getting jerked around?
