I finally got a company to remove the false collection on my credit report. It is the only collection I had and it was for $59. What will finally getting it off my report due for my score?
On a lighter note I took out a $500 secured line of credit from 2 banks today hopefully that will boost me up as well.

Go to Myfico and buy one of the credit scores, with it you get access to a what if calculator. Cost about $12 for one score. Just checked it out nothing for something being removed from report. It is good for seeing what paying off debt and assuming more debt will do to your scores though.[ Edited by wpruett on Date 02/10/2004 ]
Those sites are for your amusement only. They are not recognized in the financing industry nor are they accurate. You need to request a copy from the credit bureaus and see what it is reporting. Just because they say they agree with you some still has to let all three bureaus know. Do your homework and make sure.
