Letters To Erase Bad Record In Your Report....
I have a 2 chargeoff accounts in my credit report, which I have paid 1 one of them. However, when I checked my credit report, I found that the paid one is still regarded as delinquent. I have heard and seen somewhere before that there is a letter where you can send to the collection agency requesting a deletion of the record from the 3 bureaus as part of the settlement. Does this actually work? If so where can I get them? Please help. Thanks.

ok, so should I dispute the paid chargeoff to the 3 credit bureau and request a deletion? How should I dispute, should I say "its not mine" or "has been paid"?
