It depends on the lender and how they are set up with the CRA's. Your typical, main-stream lenders (countrywide, Wells Fargo, etc) usually report monthly, but I am not sure which day of the month they report.
Smaller lenders will report sporadically if at all until you are late, then they seem to get much better at reporting those.
