I was placed on someones credit card as a joint member without my concent and it is reported on the credit report as a charge off. How can I correct this problem??
no i already bought my house and soley in my name . i was asking if adding here income on a joint app. for any loan would be wise with her bk in 2004? and the 630 ill take all day long since with the help of this board brought it up from a 395 just 2 years ago
That is a good jump. Keep paying your bills on time. No lates. When some sees the BK but a score over 700 they may not even question it.
Is your wifes income 12k or 33k? If 12k most lenders will use the major bread winners score.

Dispute it with the credit card company. Do it in writing.

with a 630 you might be able to go stated income still, ask your lender. that way you can put down 35k a year and not use your wifes credit
