Good Account S Removed
Recently, I received a copy of my Trans Union credit report and it showed that an account that was paid was still open.
I disputed this information and informed Trans Union that this account was paid.
Instead of updating the information they removed the account from my report, which was one of the few accounts that I've established in good standing since filing chapter 7.
I've contacted Trans Union and they have not been helpful. Does anyone know what I can do to have this account added back to my credit report?
Contact the original creditor and ask that they re-report it ... as paid, of course. They should anyway. Also ask the reporting agency not to suppress it when it does report as paid.
