I started back in the days and found a Condo cheap and moved in myself. It appreciate quickly in the Denver market years back.
I had enough income to also qualify for a house so I bought a home for myself and leased-optioned the house out and that is how I got started.
Darn condo just appraised for about double what I sold it for 7 years ago. darnnit.
