Why are you going to foreclosure instead of trying to salvage your credit and investment.

We have had a bad year as far as our finances are concerned,, lots of expenses that we normally wouldn't have and we got behind on our payments when we tried to make arrangements with the mortagage company they didn't want to work with us. We had two payments to send them, but they wanted three,by the time we got the three together they wanted four ,, then it was turned over to an attorney and they started foreclosure proceedings,,, We then were able to come up with a forebearance agreement sent them $3100. but didn't realize that it went straight to the attorney fees and not the house payment,so we never really were caught up,now we are back where we started from.
