What Can I Do To Set Myself Up To Become A Developer?

I'm very curious. I'm slowly but surely learning about real property. I'm eagar and I know it's going to take a while. I don't know much about building from the ground up. The only experience I have in construction is remodels and finishwork. I can't do that line of work anymore due to my physical condition. What can you advise me?

Not that this will help any but find someone with a bunch of cash and get them to back you. :-D I suppose though you might be able to find a few books out there on the subject. Nancy has one for sell here on the board that will give you a start in your education. Good luck and if you figure it out let me know as I have been trying to acheive this goal for sometime now grin

Becoming a developer is easy. Buy a piece of land or a building and do something to make it more profitable (build or re-hab)

Becoming a profitable developer is a little more difficult.
