The first thing you should do is contact the zoning commision and let them walk you through the process to legally set it up. That will be your hardest part. Also they will have done the process so they will guide you through it and have literature on it. In florida they have standard manuals on what to do in a step by step basis.

Zoning commission here in FLorida has nothing to do with going condo. I have done it and best place to start is with your financial plan and then go to an attorney
