some posters have asked for recommended real estate development books
i haven't read a good response to the request for good books yet, so I decided to spend maybe 3 hours on amazon, builder's book store, and urban land institute
here's the list of books I bought from half i think they were the best ones out of the maybe 30 - 50 i researched

I've read the Linda Kone book (Land Development). It was published by the National Assn of Homebuilders, so that's the audience she was writing for. I wouldn't recommend it if you are (or want to be a developer) but you are not a builder.
Thank you for your effort. I think amazon is a great place to buy books and the fact that you looked up a few is greatly appreciated. The world needs a few more people like you who are willing to put in the extra effort, despite that fact that you might not get much recognition.
