Buying House Question
I do not know a lot about buying house in US.
Please help me out. I don't know whether to ask a Lawyer or a Realtor
My question is: If a person is US citizen,. He invites his MOM (from asia) to visit him for a couple of month (she does not intend to stay for Good) The question is: CAN SHE BUY HOUSE IN USA, and what are the consitions

yes. If cash purchase - whatever is agreed on. If loan based - whatever lender asks
If cash transaction over $10,000 sher will have to fill out LOTS of paperwork to show the money trail
Let say the house is 400,000, what is the MAX down payment she need in order to purchase, and remember that she is not living in US , but just visiting
