Who Owns This House?
I located a fixer(and I do mean fixer) in my neighborhood. No one has lived there for some time. I got a property report which says there are no liens on it but that taxes are delinquent. After some detective work I found a relative of the owners who told me both were deceased and as far as she knew the house had gone back to the finance www.co.I am going to call the finance co tomorrow and find out if they have the mortgage( fortunately she remembered the name of the co).
If not, would a title search tell me what I want to know?
