Weird Question?
Hello all,
I am seriously considering moving to Spain to finish my education and become fluent in espanol. It would be a 2 year commitment. I have been studying REI for a few months now but realize by leaving the states it may stop my momentum. I was wondering if anyone has bought property abroad? If so how difficult is it? I would like to purchase some property in Spain if I was to live there for 2+ years. Thanks.
I'm thinking about that too, kind of. Not for school but just for the heck of it. I also would like to know how hard this is.

are you thinking about moving there or just buying property there? I assume it is a much easier process if you are actually living in Spain. I know in Mexico you have to have a Mexican citizen buy 51% of the property with you, very socialist, not sure if Spain is similar considering their socialist past.
