Wanting To Start Bird Dogging, But No Clubs Or Networking Opportunities

I want to get started in REI as a bird dog or just jump straight in. I don't have much money and a so so credit rating. I'm just 21, so most people are skeptical and really don't feel like working with someone young. I've got great communication skills and really feel I can get stuff done. I've been working in sales for a couple years now and feel I could sell about any thing (ideas or offers) but just don't know how to get there. I've read alot on here, but there is a lot of information. So, my question really is, how can i get started in REI or bird dogging without the opportunities to network or REI clubs?? there are none in my area...i'm in the tri-state area of west virginia, ohio, and kentucky. I would appreciate any help!

If there are no clubs in your area, start one of your own. You're 21 - so what. I applaud you for having the drive to get out there and do things. Alot of people would be scared, and are scared to get out there and do what it takes to be successful. You don't need credit to get started in real estate investing. I have not purchased John Locke's Sub2 course, but from what I hear it is very good. Maybe you should take a look at that for starters. You don't need to be a bird dog to start out, go ahead and make yourself a RE investor. Go get 'em. You're young and have alot of time on your side, just stick with it.

    joshuamalachi,

    Glad to meet you.

If you ask most investors they will tell you there are investors under every rock or hiding behind a bandit sign on every street corner.

So, if is the case you should have no problem finding investors to bird dog for.

I like you spunk about sales reminds me of someone I knew your age a long time ago, I think everyone likes the term Senior Negotiator or Account Executive these days, but salespeople are the highest paid people anywhere.

PS: Ryan looking forward to having you on the Cash Now team.
