The Rules
I'm new and trying to get into rei in ant area.Almost all posts i see when a beginner asks how to find investors or gets started say contact all we buy homes ads and such which I can understand. I have done this and contacted a few members through messages(before I thoroughly read The Rules)for which i apologize and it won't happen again, but it seems to me that the best place to look for investors to get started birdogging or whatever should be right here! There are thousands of investors here and everyone wants the same thing out of rei(making money). If not I would like to know who doesn't. So why is it so hard for me to network with anyone especially in my own state? any comments are definetly appreciated as I have learned alot from so many comments

Don't forget the courthouse auctions. After attending a couple you might notice some faces that you saw before.
At my courthouse auction, the investors are nearly always dressed casually while the foreclosure attornies are always wearing business suits. Introduce yourself to the investors bidding on property and ask for their business cards.
