What can / cannot be done with security deposit on a rental property ? My tenant wants to do a 6 month rental on a property with a month to month extention after that.

What happens if she breaks the 6 month lease agreement and moves before the term is over ?

    Please let me know if you found anything other than you have responsibility to diligently pursue finding a new tenant , but, your tenant is obligated to the terms of the lease until you do.
