Hi,

I want to pursue property investment. Is it a good thing to go to a real estate course and get a real estate license?

Thank you,

well in my personal opinion i think it would be very helpful to take the real estate course. it will definately help you speak the language so to speak (no pun intended). but as far as going ahead and obtaining your license i would think very hard on that. not real sure what the laws and rules in your state are that governs real estate agents but i know here in south carolina that they are a little tougher on licensed agents flipping and seasoning property which simply as an investor you still have that option. plus they frown on agents taking "advantage" of the unknowing public. which in reality they have just about not all but damn near the same access to same info that you as a licensed agent does. but it's the state licensing agencies job to protect the public. So check your local laws but just remember a free agent has more range than an agent that is responsible to a broker.

You could get your license, but it's not neccessary for being a real estate investor. learn on this sight and buy one of those guru courses. And you will be well on your way.

Thank you for the advice. I decided to take the course to learn the lingo, laws, etc. What is the best guru course to buy?

    Thank you!
