Questions About Deed?
I bought some property from a relative a couple years ago and I have a quit claim deed. Is there a way for me to have it changed to a different kind of deed. My relative was going to lose it for back taxes, so I gave her the money to redeem it and then she sold it to me. I tore the house down, but before I build, I thought it would be nicer to have a warranty deed. Any suggestions?

If a title search shown you as the owner of the property, then your quit claim deed is good. When you file the deed, It should show you as the owner. This should be all you need.
