Potential Discount?

The house neighboring mine is vacant, for sale, listed with an agent since the beggining of October, Listed with a generic no name agent since May. Listing price is the same throughout, $149,900. I called an agent and she said that the seller is motivated. Its a single family located right in town, in fact the entire neighborhood is zoned commercial and there have been talk about all the properties being bought out by a developer. We are currently renting our residence for $950/month.

Since it has been on the market so long do you think I could discount it?

If you had the opprotunity what would you do?

    Never offer to pay the asking price always offer less, offer below what you would pay and let them come back at you........and hopefully you both can come to an agreeable price for both parties.

    Hi:
    In addition I would ask how much is the Appraisal amount and the cost of
    Repairs too before offering a Bid.
