I was helped out of a forclosure by an individual. By doing a short sale on my property. that was a long time ago. i cant get ahold of that person now. But i would like to try to invest by helping people out with that same problem. so what would be a good letter to send to someone to get them interted to do a sign agreement with me, not to insualt the person being forclosed on. so i can then talk to the bank to do a short sale on that property. i do know part of the contract will have to state that the bank cannot go after the saler for leftover amount. i would like to be la git and not cause people greaf. :-? . but to help them and in process help myself in investing.

I'm curious how it helped you at that time.
Do you remember some of how that individual conducted the process? How did they find you? What did they say to you?

i knew i had know way of making the payments 9/11 wiped out my job so i posted my house for sale threw a realtor. After missing my first payment. i lived in ohio at that time but i do not remember to much of the process. that sold my house, just that it sold and there were no consiquences later. i only had 2 missed payments on my credit report. and that came off after 2 yrs.

Do you have your own home now?
Did you look at the freebies section of this site?
You might look under the forums for short sale.
I personally am reading them, have no experience so far w/them or pre-foreclosures. I am a landlord who is exploring ways to creatively sell + buy.
I liked reading that it really helped you out.
