Go to one of those local "Postal Annex" or UPS Store/Mailboxes Etc. type storefronts, typically they have notaries on site and are open more along the lines of retail hrs. vs. 9-5 hours. (Obviously call first) Also the other poster suggested traveling notaries. I agree - just google "traveling notary <<your town, your state>>"

I deal with two realtors on a regular basis. One is a realtor and the other's wife is one. It comes in very handy even when I'm not dealing with them for their deals.
Traveling notaries work for me, Use different ones though. I try to find one that is going to be the closest to where im signing. They charge by the mile.

If there are bank branches in your grocery stores, they're often open until 7 or 8 pm. You can get them to do it also.

In our area a lot of check cashing places have notaries and are open late.
