Marketing Adds
I have not started advertising yet, so I looked through the R.E. section of the newspaper, and there are a ton of WE BUY HOUSES adds. How can someone seperate themselves from the rest of the pack? Do these adds really work? 
The ads work if you work them.. there is no magical ad that will make you rich.. it may make the phone ring, but what you do next will determine how successful you are.

See the ads as allies rather than competition. If you are flipping properties, these ads come in handy.
If you do buy houses as well, don't advertise that way.
Go after the homes or "problems." Advertise to investors, like "Buy houses 20% below FMV."
