Local Club
I live in Lockport, IL...near Orland Park, IL. I'm just wondering what is the nearest club that I can join. I have set a goal to have my first piece of property purchased before september '05. I just looking for some more insight. Thank you, Sharidan
I am in Lansing, IL, and the closest appears to be downtown, unless we start up our own. There is one that is listed under groups called T3REID I believe, I requested info via their website and never received a response, so who knows if they are legit. I am doing my first deal as we speak, but am always happy to be a sounding board for ideas.

I live in the Chicago area as well and I am just getting started in real estate investing.
I don't know if you have checked out the Groups section of this website but maybe that would be a place to start. If you search for clubs in Illinois, it actually brings up a bunch of different clubs.
If that doesn't do it for you... I would suggest maybe just doing a general search (Google, Yahoo, etc) on "real estate investing clubs."
