Just The House...
I was wondering if anybody out there has experience in buying a house that needs to be moved.
I've seen several houses in my area for sale to be moved, and I have a couple empty lots. I'm thinking of looking into buying one or two and having it/them moved.
Is it worth it? Will it cost the same/more/less than building brand new houses? Other than being green and recycling the building materials (anybody seen the price of lumber lately?) and saving the time and energy of building, is there an advantage?
What's the ratio of the building vs. the property in real estate, and any ideas as to the price of moving a house?
