I Live In Dallas, Taxas.

Is there anyone here in Dallas that is currently bird-dogging or investors looking for bird-dogs? I want to develop relationships here with like minded people. I am pretty new to REI and would like to start off doing some bird-dogging for some experienced investors. I work full time for a building supply company, so I am familiar with the area and have seen many properties. Please let me know if you reside or invest in the Dallas area. Thanks. smile

    wholesaler,

I'm a semi-new rehab/landlord investor in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I'm currently wrapped up in two rehab projects, but would be interested in additional properties as soon as these two are finished up. Feel free to shoot me an email (on profile) and we'll get to know each other. Also, iglooman is another investor in the Dallas area currently into subject-to. Depending on the proprety, he may be a better investor to contact.

I'm also in Dallas looking to get in the investment side of real estate. Currently I'm working in an architecture firm. Maybe we can use each other. I'm willing to trade some of my skills for a piece of the action in a development opportunity. ALL of us Dallas folks really need to form a coalition of some type and try and take advantage of each of our different skill sets.

By the way I'm currently looking for some looking for investment property if anyone out there knows of any good deals email me.

I've only been here 2 years and am still getting familiar with the market. What do guys think is the best area to develop in DFW right now?

I'm also looking for some cheap lil lot's (around 5k or more) to build on.

I am a newly licensed realtor in Dallas and am interested in joining forces with other area folks as one post suggested. What are the best ways for me to positively contribute to the group?

    Best,

    Me too, Me too!

I am an investor/broker in Plano. Good comb since I can also so the loan on the investments.

Why don't we all start a Dallas chapter online?

I would be VERY interested in becoming a part of a new Dallas chapter.

I'm brand-new to REI and am considering my next move - most likely it will be birddogging. Does anyone have insight into the need for bird dogs in the north Dallas area? I am prepared to give it my all, but before diving in headfirst I want to make sure that the market isn't saturated!

Please feel free to email me at the address in my profile. I'm eager to network and start learning about this business.

Ok DFW area folks, I've found a REI group already in existance here in Dallas they meet this Thurs. Some of you may have heard of it some of you may have not. I don't want to post too much info. about another group here and risk getting deleted. PM if you need more info. This will be my first visit and I'm looking forward to the experience. Hope to see you all there.

The web sites for the two groups are:

    http://www.dfwrein.com/
    http://www.aireo.org/

From what I understand, they used to be a single group but couldn't get along. I haven't been to one of their meetings yet, but most of the "deals" and articles posted on their board are not of interest. Let us know how your visit goes.
