How Is Colorado REI?
I'm moving to Colorado in about 8 months to the Denver Area and am curious if anybody could please tell me how the market is out there? I'm moving from Detroit, and am aware they are probably very different, but I just would like to know if pursuing a legitimate Broker's Liscense is the smart thing to do.

Hi Patrick, I'm in Colorado and there are lots of opportunities here. Just curious, what would be the anticipated advantage of getting a broker license? Unless you hope to work as a real estate agent, you shouldn't really need one.

The only reason I'm kicking around the idea of a broker liscense is to make life on myself easier(?) I'm not going to have a lot of money, and am confident that I want to buy and sell real estate full time without doing a bunch of rehab work, or illegal flipping.
I don't know if my brain is on the right track, I just thought that the liscense will help me avoid the hard work of jumping through 'creative' hoops... Could you tell me what you do out there? Right now I'm doing pretty well wholesaling in Detroit, but I want to make the big money i've heard of that brokers make. Am I just another victim of thinking that the agent-to-broker is the easy in??
