Good Idea Or NO?
Hey great people of TCI,
I made a call to one of those "We buy houses" ads yesterday asking if I could bird dog and make some cash and learn at the same time. I was presented with a contract for a mentoring program. 2k full take on profit or 1400 and half of the profit + my money back after first sale.
Did anyone get their start this way? what do you think of this type of program? Its geared towards wholesaling and rehabs.
Any info would be appreciated.

Sounds like maybe they are running an ad to attract people to their mentoring program.
You should not have to pay $2k for knowledge that is free on this website.
Yeah, I'm with Bruce. If a bird-dog brought me a deal and wanted to participate I certainly wouldn't charge him a fee.
It seems that you are in my neck of the woods. I recommend you come to the DC Central MD Real Estate Investors Group. We meet the second Sat of every month at the Bowie Library on rt 450 just north of 197. There is generally anywhere from 200-300 people there, and it is free.
