Furnished Housing

I apologize in advance if this is not posted in the right place. I am considering renting out a furnished house (temporary housing) and wanted to know if there is anyone out there doing this and what are the pros and cons. It will be in the university area of North carolina.

this is probably common sense, but my guess would be that furnished places would rent for more than unfornished places.
